This section chronicles my restoration of a 1930 Magic Chef kitchen range.  Ironically, of all the projects in the Pattson Chronicles this is the one that I completed first.  For whatever reason, I just couldn't muster the enthusiasm I needed to chronicle this restoration.  

For five years the restored stove sat in the basement of my daughter's house waiting for us to remodel her kitchen.  Well, just this past month we finished the remodel and the restored stove is now sitting proudly in her kitchen, ready for another 60 years of use.  Seeing the stove in its rightful place restored my enthusiasm for writing about its restoration.

The restoration was a fun (mostly) experience and I learned a lot in the process.  Hopefully, my chronicles will help someone else in the restoration of one of these vintage beauties.
